Overview

DailyFamilyCall sends low-volume transactional SMS only — not marketing or promotional texts. We do not sell mobile numbers or share them with third parties for their own marketing.

How registered users also opt in

Account holders follow this in-app path in addition to the public form above:

  1. Register: At /register, the user creates an account and must check a box: “By creating an account you agree to our Terms of Service.” The Terms ( /terms, Section 11) explain consent to operational calls and text messages at numbers the user provides.
  2. Add phone number: After registration, the user signs in and adds a mobile number on their Profile at /portal/profile.
  3. SMS choice on Verify: On /verify, the user selects “Text me a code” (SMS) as the delivery method and clicks “Send verification code (text message).” Selecting SMS and requesting the code is the user’s affirmative consent to receive text messages from DailyFamilyCall.
  4. The user enters the one-time code to complete phone verification. Consent is tied to the explicit SMS verification action.

What messages users receive

Message types are transactional and tied to account operation or safety:

  • Phone verification codes (one-time SMS when the user requests SMS verification).
  • Check-in related notices when applicable to the user’s account activity.
  • Emergency or safety-related alerts when the service detects a missed check-in or the user requests help through a supported channel.
  • eGuardianAngels (designated contacts) may receive safety alert SMS when a protected person misses a check-in or needs help.
